VTCT Fast-Track Level 3 – Provide Electrical Facial Treatments
Course Pre-Requisites: You will need to have already achieved a VTCT Level 2 Facial or VTCT Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification, or an accepted equivalent qualification.
If you would like to advance your career as a Beauty Therapist and specialise in electrical and advanced facial treatments, our VTCT Level 3 course is designed to give you the professional knowledge, practical skills and recognised qualification needed to carry out treatments safely and confidently.
This qualification is also an important progression route for learners wishing to continue onto Level 4 Laser, IPL and advanced Aesthetic training, helping you develop your career and expand the range of professional treatments you can offer.
You will need a good standard of spoken and written English, together with access to a PC or laptop to complete your home study, coursework and online examinations.
This qualification can be completed in as little as 8 weeks, although you have up to 12 months to complete all course requirements, giving you the flexibility to study around work, family and other commitments.

Much of the qualification is completed through flexible home study, supported by comprehensive study materials, electronic workbooks and written coursework. Your practical training and assessments are completed at our Academy, where you will develop and perfect your treatment techniques with tutor support and guidance.

Our assessment process ensures that your techniques, from client consultation and hygiene requirements to safety, treatment procedures and attention to detail, meet the required professional standards and reinforce the skills developed during your practical training.
Achieving your VTCT Level 3 qualification can help increase your employment opportunities, professional skills and earning potential, whether you want to work within a salon, spa or clinic, expand your existing beauty business, or progress onto advanced Level 4 Laser, IPL and Aesthetic training.
Before Attending Your Training
You will be required to give and receive treatments as part of your practical training and assessments, so you should be prepared to remove your make-up during the course. Eyelash extensions should also be removed before attending.
Please inform the Academy of any recent cosmetic or aesthetic procedures before attending so that we can advise whether treatments can safely be carried out as part of your practical training.
All professional products, equipment and tools are provided at our Academy during your training days, so no training kit is required to attend.
Please bring your lunch with you. Tea and coffee are provided.
We provide comprehensive study materials to help you complete your coursework and prepare for your assessments and examinations.
Completing Your Qualification
Once you have successfully completed all required home study, coursework, practical training, assessments and examinations, you will achieve your VTCT Level 3 qualification.
Following successful completion and verification, your certificate will be processed and released by the awarding organisation. Please allow up to 12 weeks for certification.
Your Level 3 qualification can then provide a progression route to further advanced training, including Level 4 Diode Laser, Laser Hair Reduction, IPL Skin Rejuvenation and Aesthetic courses, subject to the entry requirements of your chosen qualification.
